voting demo because that was my first instinct upon re-listening but they're so close & both have different things they do better

the massive intro synth sounds massive-er on the demo

yeah that's what it came down to for me

I'll give the intro synths to the demo, but the album version is more spacious. I think it soars higher.

Demo because that's the first version I heard and it stuck with me. Nostalgia's a bitch

and it might be the only glimpse of the 'lost album' we'll ever hear

well the only track we did hear that didn't make the album was David which is fantastic

probably discussed elsewhere, but one kind of unique/noteworthy thing about grimes is the way that she juggles the music vs the singing live, esp recently. in the video posted above, you can see her primarily presenting herself as the singer, out in front, but also returning back to the keyboard on occasion to trigger samples, sometimes in an alarmingly rushed way, like she's just about to miss it. she's carefully balancing between the two that i don't really see with anyone else. it's inevitable that she'll just ditch the instruments for good, but it's really cool to see her in this inbetween moment.

First time hearing those two songs and they make it sound like the scrapped album with Realiti (demo) could've been as good (maybe even better) as artangels.

At least release those three as an EP. Please Claire I need more of your music in my life.

When realti demo was first released I was crazy about that but the album version has more shelf life imo now - it has all the elements from the demo but more lush. Underrated on ilm
