I didn't mind the version (not the best tho) bet it didn;t really fit in with the album. Seems like iot was just a song they wanted to cover or something.

I do like it (although not as much as the Mazzy Star version) but I am inclined to go for the "sore thumb" angle. I also find the "turn up the heat on the stew" nonsense slightly irritating. But "Wonder" makes up for everything.

yeah, the mazzy star version is better, and the best is the Pale Saints version IMO (btw, All Music Folks, the review of the PS In Ribbons, says Blue FLower is a Mazzy Satr original, not the case)

Correct, it's a Slapp Happy song; I like the PS and MS versions, but the original is the best.
