I would like to know who sings the new commercial for Target stores. Who sings it, I think it is Rosemary Clooney. The song I think is " Oh Happy Life" Does anyone know?? Thank you

Gimme a couples week and I could find out (email me). I'm swamped right now, but Target's commercials have had some great music, like John Freeman (Magnolias) singing "Complicated Fun" with members of the Suicide Commandos.

According to this link it appears to be Peggy Lee...

It is infact: "Sweet Happy Life (Sambra de Orfeu) " by Peggy Lee from the import album: Guitars a la Lee.

It is a great tune.

Has anyone here seen the target commercial (its new in my area) with the middle aged guy and a younger girl each playing a set of drums? It seemed as though the guy was the instructor and the girl the pupil and they were playing along with each other? There's no lyrics, only drum playing.....if you know where to get it or any information about it please e-mail me or reply to this

Don't know who the guy is, but the girl is the drummer from the Donnas. I'm pretty sure that is a one-off for the commercial, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, and is the guy playing the drums Bun E. Carlos?!

Broheems (diamond), Tuesday, 2 December 2003 02:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe so. Good call.

*cigarette*

ok, where to find the song though, anyone know?

Mike Pallatia, Tuesday, 2 December 2003 03:01 (twenty-two years ago)

It's Bun E. He looks different to people who only recognize him with 40 extra pounds and a square hanging from his lips.

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Tuesday, 2 December 2003 03:05 (twenty-two years ago)

bun e. usually has 40 pounds hanging from his lips?

eeesh.... that's gross.

I really enjoyed that Bud E./Donna C. drum jam commercial. It was kinda shocking.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 2 December 2003 14:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I've never seen it. I REALLY want to, though.

I saw a Target ad in Australia on tv a few months ago, and it was completly different to any of the other target ads. it had really nice soft music (almost sad-ish?) i think everything was mostly red and there was teenagers and stuff in it. I REALLY NEED to hear this song but im not sure if it is real or not because i think the last line is "Lets be happy, lah la lala laah" but even that bit is sad and slow. if anyone could help it would much be appreciated

Robyn Bloem, Thursday, 11 May 2006 10:22 (nineteen years ago)

What about the newest one...just a softspoken duden and an acoustic guitar...I think the words "you better be...." start of the phrase...but I guess I'm not sure

beefytee, Wednesday, 17 May 2006 15:12 (nineteen years ago)
