this was unavailable anywhere aside from the original vinyl until the Nightclubbing reissues a couple of years back. it was from the original 1986 12" and the extra added synth parts were sampled by A Tribe Called Quest on Rhythm (Devoted to the Art of Moving Butts). i'm always surprised this mix isn't better known.

All of these are available on maxi single CD releases of the song, except for the "Teardrops" extended mix, which you can find on CD on Ben Liebrand's Grand 12-Inches 5 compilation. I know this, cos I have them all on CD in those formats. They're all great lesser known mixes anyway, nothing wrong with posting them here, I just wanted to let people know that if you're someone like me who doesn't have a vinyl player, you can still get them on CD.
