There's one song on each of the audio version of the books too! (That's 8 or 9 songs). Well there you go. Anyone heard these? Any good?

I only just noticed that the guy Daniel who performed on 69LS is the author.

ho hum

...has an MP3 file of Handler reading a book excerpt, and there's a little bit of a song in it too.

I am a huge, huge Magnetic Fields fan, but I'm passing on getting the LS audiobooks, because...

$16 per audiobook x 13 books in the series = $208 for 13 songs!! (Yes, yes, Tim Curry reads, but...)

It would make sense that once the series is complete (which will take a while, since LS is only doing a book a year now!), they would compile all the songs on one CD. That's what I'm counting on.

The first song about Count Olaf, "Scream and Run Away," is WONDERFUL. "Run run run run, or die...die die die die..."

_A Series..._ is pretty huge now, but when the movie comes out, I'm certain that it's going to be massively popular. Good job Daniel Handler. And let's hope that he can pull some strings to get Stephin Merritt to do the score...
