There's nothing not to love about Nick's insane stick insect dancing in the video.
Also the credit "Nick Cave was.....the drug addled wreck"

Sometimes I listen to it back-to-back a few times and suddenly an hour has gone by.

for me, this song is to nick cave what 'blindness' is to the fall, that sort of late career monolith of a song that towers over everything else they've put out in the last twenty years, and even in my state of disenchantment bordering on complete apostasy, it gives me that fleeting frisson of belief once more. maybe every other severely long-in-the-tooth indie-rock band has one of these?

It's just about the only track worth anything on "Nocturama".

"Dead Man In My Bed" is also great but otherwise yeah

"Higgs Boson Blues" especially the slower dream-like version on the Live at KCRW is another Nick Cave tune from the last few years I have gone through periods of listening to over and over.

Aside from Bring It On and Babe I'm On Fire, I also like Wonderful Life myself but its still a far from essential album. Think he was drifting for a bit: Abattoir Blues is a bit overblown Neil Diamond for me, and Dig Lazarus Dig is fun but not a lot of real spark, but the last two have been great.

I’d forgotten about bring it on, a very underwhelming single - this should’ve been the (apocryphal) a-side!

it was a double A-side with He Wants You, but only as a radio edit (the video exists in both versions)
