I think GH are one of those rare bands that really do improve on every release, which is made possible by them sucking quite a fair amount in the 90's. Even back then you could tell they had the ideas, just sort of an inability to put them together or make them sound good.

somewhere around the time (or maybe just a little before?) they poached jon from sky cries mary they got pretty decent if not always consistently so

I think its funny how much they got clowned on for hiring a Jon Anderson soundalike. Given their Yes worship and troubles at the lead vocalist position I don't see how they could possibly pass him up.
