Can't not go with "Hey dad...", snaps everything into focus.....not unlike a shaken polaroid one might say

xpost Yes, came here to vote for 'Sunday Morning', stayed to vote for 'my skin is theirs'. Whatever that even means.

This belongs to a group of pop songs I only ever heard indistinctly in the background while passing through college buildings where they piped music through the PA and that always left me feeling vaguely melancholic for some unknown reason.

i think mine is “(kicking and screaming)” bc it’s such a weird moment to introduce a new flourish in the primary melody

def "hey dad"

billstevejim, Sunday, 26 November 2017 22:35 (eight years ago)

Either hey dad or my skin is theirs?

Was reading about what filter's been up to for the last 15 years and this latest album cover is making me regret it: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crazy_Eyes_(Filter_album)

Yeah, that’s a good one too

This song is both everything I love and everything I hate in music. This love-hate relationship also includes the lyrics: soaked in emotion but absent of logic.

Sounds like solsburry hill

In a slipshod style (Ross), Monday, 27 November 2017 03:40 (eight years ago)

Fitting comparison since that’s another song which I either love or hate depending on my mood.
