(Also, the Rush one takes on nearly unbearable poignancy given Peart of course wrote the lyrics, and a decade later both his (then) only child and then his wife died. The song was affecting to start with; it's almost a wrench now though at least he's found a new life and family.)

I'm psyched this has become the thread for celebrating the Rush classic. Catching it live renewed my enthusiasm because I could enjoy the song without being subjected to the overly fussy late 80s production values from Hold Your Fire.
