I didn't realise Penelope Tree was a real person until long after hearing the song of that name by Felt.

"International Colouring Contest" by Stereolab: is about (and namechecks) Lucia Pamela - same.

Coupla examples from the White Album: Dear Prudence (turns out to be about Mia Farrow's sister) and Sexy Sadie (about Maharishi Mahesh Yogi). Did not know this fr many years.

Not quite on topic but at the end of Wu Tang - Triumph theres a line that goes 'Max mostly, undivided then slide in sickening'

I always heard that as Max Mosely and wondered why the Wu were namechecking Oswald Mosley's barrister son.
