I can only think of "Prestwich Prophet's Grin" by the KLF

Youth Against Fascism by Sonic Youth & It's No Fun Until They See You Cry by Dirtbombs are both said to be inspired by the Fall

I've heard Elastica's "I Want to Be a King if Orient Aah" is a cheeky homage but I can't really hear it

MES' delivery had been honed over years of constant gigging, and I feel like whenever more conventional frontpersons try to imitate him, usually it's still really locked to the beat & comes across as really stiff poetry slam

And when she talked about the fall
I thought she talked about Mark E Smith
I never understood at all

An ilxor called 6335 submitted a song to the U2 precover album that was basically a Fall impression (and not a bad one)

There's a few Pavement ones, but Conduit for Sale! is probably the one that stands out the most.

Jumper Clown by Marc Riley & the Creepers. Never understood most of the lyrics until reading Hanley's book.

Don't buy the evil rock press anymore
Please may I look at yours?
Don't buy the evil rock press anymore
Please may I look at yours?

'Cause I'm a Jumper Clown

Dare to dance on an Aussie floor
Bloody nose, bloody bore
Dare to dance on an Aussie floor
Bloody nose, bloody bore

'Cause you're a Jumper Clown

Hey, this sounds like Mark Smith!
It sounds like The Fall!
I'm going home!

Musical instruments limited baby
Please may I twang on yours?

Please may I twang on yours?
You dare to tread in a downstairs club
A dressing down in dressing room slug
Jumper Clown, Jumper Clown
Jumper Clown, Jumper Clown

Oh man, this thread has reminded me that I don't know shit about the Fall. This is one of those "across the pond" significance's I look forward to exploring. The Fall's catalog has always intimidated me.
