TS: "Fresh" vs. "Misled"

When Kool & the Gang's Emergency album felt like it owned the charts, my girlfriend and I would idly wonder: which of these songs is more awesome? "Fresh" felt like the more complex single, something really special, but "Misled" has this awesome shift in the syncopation of the vocal vs. the beat that's just so delicious, and that guitar which ought to have become iconic alongside the billy squier riffs of the same period

So yeah, "Fresh" is more funky and catchy. I don't like the "rock guitar" too much on "Misled".
As for "Cherish" it's corny but I still enjoy it !
that album was pretty short, wasn't it ? By today's standards, it's an EP !
