So, I was on the fence about buying this Barbara Mason LP at the Goodwill the other day until I noticed on the credits that there was a guy who played The Chromulizer. Anybody. WTF is a Chromulizer. Google search comes up empty except for the Discogs entry for this record

some of the same personnel show up together (or in similar combinations) with a credit for that or a few other records too, so if anything my guess would be it's something (possibly a piece of recording equipment?) from a specific studio/group

Had a listen a listen to the record last night, which is quite interesting in parts and throughout there is a snaky synth like sound bubbling under a lot of the tracks. So my best guess is that it may be a type of keyboard or electronic device. I haven’t seen this credit elsewhere. Curious as to where else it appears.
