I've just realized that I like Loverboy's "Turn Me Loose". I don't know why, but I think it has something to do with the fact that it takes New Wave and disco and arena rock and merges them perfectly. It's like a white Canadian answer to "Hot Stuff". Who's with me?

Which Bryan Adams song? I'm almost scared to admit that I cheer inside when I'm playing Vice City and a car I jump into has "Run to You" on the radio. I might not like it on its own terms as a song, but I love the way it works in that particular game environment.

if it makes you feel any better I keep hearing songs on classic rock radio that are enjoyable but since it's when I wake up I can never remember what they are

I'm definitely down with your white canadian "hot Stuff" concept. It's undeniably absurd, but a fun song that brightens my day when it comes up in my internal jukebox. That scream in it is a classic too.

I dunno, I just put my dial somewhere that came in louder once I started waking up early enough again that the top 40 station had these idiots talking forever. the little thing is near '100' but with this thing I don't know if that means much.

whatever it is, it sure is a pussified classic rock station.
