Based on three or four listens, I'm torn between the monumental Kyogenshou and the monumental Gips, but I will consider the later tracks again now

Yeah that one is amazing too, astounding songcraft in someone barely out of their teens

also i know i should just be thankful her catalog is streaming, but i would really like for her music videos to be available in the us

I voted for Kyogenshou, a perfect opener - the flute at the beginning really makes it. this album is my favourite thing she's done, it's the perfect blend of rock anthems and more experimental arrangements

I agree that the first two Tokyo Jihen albums are completely essential. on their albums after that the other members write much more of the music and the results are a bit more inconsistent, though there are plenty of great songs she didn't write throughout their discography including Ideal Days for Ultramarine and OSCA
