Was there ever a thread for Little Dark Age or whatever the hell their new album is? It's pretty good. Williamsburg hipsters all grown up and taking their place in the world.

right off the top for me it's Someone's Missing vs. Congratulations

there are plenty of cool tracks here though. this album is hella consistent.

Someone's Missing always makes me think of the Jackson 5

nope, you had me question it for a moment though. it's plural.

Admittedly MGMT only fully piqued my interest when I learned they'd written a song about Dan Treacy, but said song is rather good and I ended coming back to it more than any other track when the album was finally released, so probably that.

Song for Dan Tracey. those Scooby Doo organ chords in the chorus. it has like 6 hooks. ridiculously great song

I think I like "Flash Delirium" best, haven't heard this for a little while.

i miscalculated this album, i thought there was a bigger cult following.

but yeah Ross i agree, new album is great and i saw most songs live.

but you should probably give this album another spin. it has layer and layer and layer to it. it's pretty damn good in the end.

Went for Siberian Breaks in the end, right or wrong OH WELL

I ended up voting for "Siberian Breaks" but that felt like I was cheating. As that song is like three or four songs.

voted for Dan Treacy as i said but the title track is really special, the 'simplest' song on the record and such a perfect closer.

in terms of concision and simplicity in songwriting that's probably their high watermark
