The intro with percussion and guitar starts at 2:05, and I feel like it's some well-known song, I might even own the record, but for the life of me I can't place it. Can anyone identify the tune?

Wish I could watch videos at work to help u out. I've seen the scene in question very recently (currently rewatching the series) but can't remember the music.

It's just a few seconds of an intro of a song but it sounds very familiar, maybe the guitar bit has been sampled somewhere?

I don't think it is, it sounds so familiar, and different from the incidental music the show normally has (for example, they don't use percussion like that).

I tried if Shazam would recognise, but no results.

The more I think about it the more I feel I've heard the guitar riff sampled in some rap tune... But that's all I've got. I've tries googling it, but all I can find is people on Reddit and Yahoo Answers asking what tune it is, with no answers.

I'm still curious about this... If it's indeed incidental music, is there some song which starts with a similar percussion and guitar riff? Because I'm pretty sure I've heard some rap song with a sample like that, and I can't imagine they sampled the GG soundtrack.
