Evangelicals - gothy indie rock band from Norman, Oklahoma that kinda disappeared after great sophomore album

I love The Evening Descends, saw them live around the release (back in 2008) and they were great

for some reason never listened much to their debut

today "The Halloween Song" showed up in my Release Radar and I thought they might be making a comeback, but seems it's an old gem, nice little tune anyway:

I hated the production on the record. I remember the instruments being lower than everything else and it sounding very strange.
