Please please recommend me some non-embarrassing duets I can do with my female coworker at the office christmas party

My boss has ordered that I and a coworker who also sings and plays guitar have to perform a few songs at the christmas party (and not christmas songs). I'm trying to think of songs that will work as male female duets but not have awkward romantic/sexual connotations -- doesn't have to originally be a male/female duet but should have opportunity for harmony. Office leans youngish fwiw, even management is only in their late 40s/ early 50s, so 70s to 90s is probably the sweet spot.

Thanks much friends. Sarcastic posts welcome but please give me some legit suggestions too.

The one that came to mind so far is "You've Got a Friend"

non-romantic male/female duets are a tough one tho tbr, I'm kinda struggling to think of even one

I mean Gabriel/Bush "Don't Give Up" doesn't really have anything awkward in it but it's still clearly a couple singing to each other

best bet might be to play the typical couple stuff for laughs - George Jones/Tammy Wynette or Loretta Lynn/Conway Twitty

Christmas song, still: The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - "Fairytale of New York"

Pet Shop Boys and Dusty Springfield - "What Have I Done To Deserve This?"

Would be awesome if you could pull this off:
Jody Watley ft. Eric B. and Rakim - "Friends"

Male, but could surely work as male/female
Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson - "Say Say Say"

Stop Draggin My Heart Around is obviously romantic, but the lyrics are vague enough that it might not be too weird

Under Pressure is the nonromantic song I have most enjoyed singing in duet
Hate to say it but some Weezer songs might be crowd-pleasers, Simon & Garfunkel, Mamas and the Papas?

weird woman in a bar (La Lechera), Monday, 29 October 2018 21:03 (six years ago)

Otherwise I would focus on adding harmonies to songs you already enjoy singing
Maybe some Springsteen songs would be good for harmonies?

listen there aren't going to be that many widely-recognized male-female harmonies that aren't romantic

I think you should just go over the top and do Peaches & Iggy Pop. Romance and innuendo would be awkward, this is so far beyond that nothing matters anymore.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31kYXDJenSg

But I'd second Shiny Happy People for a more 'proper' suggestion.
Maybe Richard & Linda Thompson have some good ones too, despite them having been a couple?

Work/office themed songs that can easily be converted to duets:
- Work From Home
- 9 to 5 (both the Dolly Parton and the Sheena Easton songs)
- A Hard Days Night
- Wives And Lovers (has been interpreted by both men and women over the years)
- Take This Job (And Shove It)
- Heigh Ho

Yeah but it's (1) G-rated (2) cheesy enough to be "fun" and (3) has some lyrical themes that could vaguely be reinterpreted toward business success.
