it's a very short album but really enthralling in its subtle hooks and finesse - the dreampop guitars, frontman Tori Holleman's C86 vocals, the intimate private disco atmospheres.

I've seen curiously little talk about it anywhere, given that it's really good and also seems to have a very 2018 set of influences.

tiptoeing around mentioning The Blue Nile as a reference point here because that just leads to inevitable disappointment but at the same time

i like this record a lot but i don't think the ugly album cover is doing them any good:
