Please complete any of the following (or any others you can think of):

Music for Airports is actually for...
Music for a New Society is actually for...
musicforthemorningafter (by Pete Yorn) is actually for...
musicforafilm (by Sybarite) is actually for...

Are any "Music for ____" albums actually for what they say they're for? Or how about ones that are actually for what another one says its for, e.g., Eno actually made music for Space Age Bachelor Pads (and Esquivel for airports)?

I've never inhaled NO2 so I can't comment on Stars of the Lid's Music for Nitrous Oxide (it sounds more like music for weed to me.)

I've been listening to SotL's MfNO a lot lately... (more acronyms, dammit) and I don't get it, I suppose. I did whippits once...reminded me of when I had my tonsils taken out... it didn't sustain itself, though. I guess you'd have to go through a few cans for the duration of the album? Would you even make it that long?

and may I add this though it's in the middle:
Taking Drugs to Make Music to Take Drugs To . ... spacemen 3

I actually listened to Music for Nitrous Oxide while doing nitrous once, and it worked pretty well, although I must say that Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works Vol. II works better.

Howie B's Music For Babies gets very close as it's actually music for _a_ baby, his.

I'm a bit of a baby mind, and I like it.

five months pass...
Im guessing 'Songs for the deaf' by Queens of the stone age kinda fits in, and it kinda paradoxially defeats itself in the title so erm no.
