octo octa is the only person i can think of who is making this kind of personal, colorful, moody-ish, progressive, not-for-hetero-scenes dance music but there has got to be more of it out there. can someone point me to other producers in this vein? u.s. scenes appreciated but worldwide is fine.

tmi alert: i was at a bathhouse a few nights ago and the mix was not like this thread at all but i enjoyed it - kinda generic tech house working its way into diva vocals. not sure what about it i liked, i doubt the mix was that different from when i was there last 10 years ago, i think it's just a case of me just being so gay and basic and thinking that fucking along at 128 bpm to generic tech house is the best thing ever.
