now that the spotlight has drifted a bit & this stuff has mostly started to appear extremely played out Ive lately enjoyed digging for gems drifting amidst the flotsam & jetsam of terrible soundcloud rap music. this stuff is sometimes awful but often interesting

there's something about this genre that still feels fresh and relevant and exciting. but the themes of DOIN' DRUGS and WANNA DIE kinda get old. i think lyrically these dudes need to ... explore a little.

the last minute of that Jumex was very Peep. it was my favorite of the three by far.

Haha yeah the depression / drugs as subject matter feel extremely tedious although “trapped” works by taking it to an almost cartoon like level
