Hip ambient artist Huerco S is from Kansas?? Now THAT is exotic. They don't have elevation there, they were too poor two centuries ago to afford a third dimension. It's just one flat endless field of tall grass.

there have historically been artists who are from west of the mississippi and east of california. crazy, i know.

Technically, map described a track as being a very pretty sad person track that he would include on his running playlist but not play in a club unless he wanted to feel like a loser, and further/separately said that if anyone took the position that (rather than asking whether) Midland is too obvious shouldn't go to parties.
