I didn't know either of these. Alucinolândia is not too hallucinatory to my ears (maybe the lyrics are trippier than the music?). Karma on the other hand is terrific! I see that the band was founded by Jorge Amiden after leaving O Terço, and that Arthur Verocai did the arrangements for the album. Glad to get acquainted with this one.

xp yeah wow i didn’t realize the o terço / arthur verocai connections ! and i’m with you re: zito righi. re-listening for the poll i found it to be not as far out as i had remembered, though it’s fun enough, kind of a party record.

the karma record has some really beautiful vocal harmonies.

okay, off to revisit the o terço catalogue ...
