Listened to this a lot in high school. Retrospectively, I can't say these tracks are all essential but they were definitely gateways to interesting music.
Debate and rank as you please.

"Oh Yeah" is better than most things in the universe, so that's the obvious choice. Other than that, the TG track is great, as are Dome and "Midget Submarines'

I had the edition that came with a VHS tape, which didn't have Loop or Fad Gadget on it.

Gut says TG or EN, but worth a relisten before committing.

I had this compilation and remember listening to "Shivers" the most, so that gets my vote even though I hate Nick Cave now.

Although there are many bands I like better (Wire, Can, Cabaret Voltaire) the best *song* on here is Fad Gadget's "Collapsing New People". Took my head off at the time and Frank Tovey's entire output is not just underrated but unrated for the most part.

If I’m going by the impact these made on Young Me (who used to listen to a lot of this stuff), it’s got to be “Tanz Debil”, the first track I ever heard by Blixa’s Collapsing New Buildings. Honourable mentions to “Midget Submarines” and “Co Co Pino”.
