the best emo crossover album of 2007 here at last!!!! (these dudes were around in 2007 too, but they were making more anonymous records then.) amazing ambitious pop-rock songs often giving into their pop half and getting overtaken by scribbled masses of strings. i hear echoes of my chemical romance, early panic! at the disco, and infinity- and folie-era fall out boy all over this thing. i know i said the copeland record from this year was my taste collapsed but i kinda feel like my brain produced this album too (it didn't, matt squire did, he also produced panic!'s a fever you can't sweat out)
