This is kind of a toughie for me, because in my opinion, Refused were only really exceptional on their last album, everything pre-SOPTC was pretty standard chugga-chugga hardcore.

The Noise Conspiracy has kicked major ass from the beginning, but none of their stuff is nearly as revolutionary as SOPTC, which to me is probably the best album to come out in the late 90's. Whatcha guys think?

Refused's final album was exceptional, but I have never been able to get into the International Noise Conspiracy. SOPTC, is possibly the most revolutionary album ever. It's certainly up there with Aenima and OK Computer as far as life changing albums go.
