Been thinking about this. It seems more common in some genres than others.

For example, there must be hundreds of funk songs that explain the concept of funk, though I somehow can't think of any examples right now.

Of course there is 'Black Metal' by Venom. Or 'Rapper's Delight' by Sugarhill Gang.

Any other noteworthy examples?
