two things:

i) talk about it! i haven't heard it yet, but several people on here have raved about it, without (i think) saying much about what it actually sounds like.

ii) how long is it? i was browsing for it last night and noticed different files ranging between < 1 hour and approx 3 hours, and i don't want to waste time d/l-ing the wrong version...

i downloaded it and tho i've only listened to it once properly, the bits that really stood out for me were the dropping of Miss Kittin tracks, Vitalic's own stormers and, because it was such a surprise, Felix (not the Housekatt)'s 'Dont You Want Me'

My version doesn't have Felix-Don't You Want Me.

It sounds like mostly Vitalic's own stuff on the one I have, in fact the only track I can tell which definitely isn't theirs is the Kid Kreme remix of Thrill Me by Junior Jack which is a really driving funky techno track with this rocksolid snare groove throughout.

The one I have is about an hour long and just starts off as total pandemonium, then escalates. It begins with a song which must be Vitalic, a man saying "vingt et un" and then this massive droning siren which gets louder and louder until the beat and the obligatory growling techno riff come in. Mine is dated some time in May of this year and recorded off a French radio show.

The Vitalic live @ Fuse set (18 may 2002, indeed starting with the "vingt et un" jingle) is one hour, but the 3 hour mp3 that's floating around has a two hour Miss Kittin set before it. Not too shabby either!

I'm currently looking for the Shockers 2002 and Mayday 2002 sets of Vitalic, I've been told that they're even better...

That Felix Don't You Want Me track is from the Miss Kittin set BTW.

ah, sorry bout that confusion! i knew it was Miss Kittin and Vitalic together on the mp3 but couldnt remember which bits were when, buh
