Despite seeing A Laughing Death in Meatspaces rank the [Removed Illegal Link].

There's a post-punk feel to the new one and the bursts of noise seem organized in a much more symmetrical way, lending a slight air of accessibility that I thought the debut lacked, or at least did to my ears. I think it will be better-received than the debut. Given their reputation as a ferocious live act, I would love to see the band perform this from a stage near me. Fingers crossed.

Despite seeing A Laughing Death in Meatspaces rank the 31st best album of 2018 according to ILM, there isn't a thread about them yet. Listening to the forthcoming Braindrops album, I thought I would rectify that.

I didn't love the debut as much as some others (and they did seem somewhat polarizing) I am enjoying the advance of the new one, which comes out 8/23 on Joyful Noise Recordings.
