Singer/Artist Identification Needed

I picked up a nondescript CDr in a Mojave desert thrift store last week: It just says "world crit in progress", written in sharpie on it, enclosed in a generic white CD envelope. It's a music CD though, and the singer/artist's voice seems distinctive, although the songs on the disc are clearly very rough and "in progress". I'm wondering if this is someone that y'all might recognize, if it could be an artist with other releases.

It was a San Francisco band called World Crit: https://worldcrit.bandcamp.com/. The "colossal frequency" lyric was the giveaway.
