British Library Number 1 Singles Wall

Anybody been up to the British library in Kinks Cross? They have this wall listing all the number ones since 1952 and you can stick on the headphones and pick and choose whatever you want. It's like a giant CD with real a real easy search on date, song or artist. Very addictive and a great laugh flicking through the weeks -- the schooldays all come flooding back, remembering which song knocked which off top spot. Then there's all the one off sixties hits you've heard on TV adds etc but didn't know who sung them. Free as well, you could stand there for hours if the legs were up for it. No comfy sofas included unfortunately.

Recent question on ILM: 50 years of number ones
[Sorry, I'm not too clever at putting in links.]
