With three tracks mentioned on the summer songs thread so far, I think this album needs its own thread. It's a gorgeous blend of rap, rnb, afrobeats, and some reggae (putting it roughly in a similar orbit as last year's Estelle and Burna Boy albums), which, despite the range, manages to sound distinctive not mushy.
I haven't spent enough time with it yet to say anything partic insightful but driving, hip-housey lead single "Zulu Screams" is a good place to start:

new album is nice. goldlink is a guy with great taste who is always the least interesting part of his own songs.

ha, tbh of his previous work I only know ""Crew" so I don't have much sense of him as a pop locus. I don't entirely agree with you, but the production is for sure what makes this album special
