anyway Queens Of The Stone Age gets my vote as its their best album.

gotta go with autechre here. I only heard it the first time a couple of years later, but it is the album that started my so far unabated fandom/obsession with their music

Nice to see Circle make an appearance (first one of the 90s?). Good album but a long way from my favourite of theirs.

Voted for Merzbow's 1930 just over Autechre. I agree with whoever said they like these lists a lot more than the 1997 ones.

This strikes me as one of the weaker years in the 90s.

TNT is the only one I'm particularly excited about.

I think at this point I was fully immersed in DnB and techno, and the bulk of non-rave indie stuff just passed me by.

After the early polls there was complaints we left out 'canonical' albums so we have 1 list with most of the canon and another with our actual pet faves which the polls were supposed to be about rather than canon.
