why no reunion

and bob and grant can never be in the same room together. plus niehter of them has done a good record in at least 10 years...

not true. 'the last dog and pony show' was an excellent return to form, easily bob's best stuff since sugar. it's only a pity the follow-up was so mediocre. still, bob's playing in sydney next month (first shows here since '91) and i wouldn't miss it for shit. i'm dying for grant to make a decent record. someone with his songwriting ability should be capable of something better than what he's done post-huskers (nova mob rec excepted).

a reunion would never work, much as i'd like to see it. people in the know seem to agree that the hostility between band members only increases as the years pass, which i think is a great, great pity.
