Call me rockist but...System Of a Down's "b-sides/rarities" collection "Steal This Album!" is their best by a fair margin - which is saying something for those of you out there that have actually heard their previous two. Even the worst track - the outright idiotic yelp of "Fuck the System" - is made listenable by Serj Tankian's vocal acrobatics. And it has many of their best songs: "Boom!", "A.D.D.", "Streamline", "Bubbles", "Highway Song", "Mr. Jack", and even a sweet little acoustic number, "Roulette". And even if you're not a fan, you can delight in the fact that it will probably make owners of chain CD stores quiver. And yes, I AM aware that they, erm, stole that idea.

The pleasantest surprise of the year was the colour of the spine of the Pulp Hits CD, as I already have plenty-enough white spines thankyou.

And then I went and left the bloody CD at someone's house while on tour... waaaahhhhhh!!! Curse bloody shaggy rockboy groupies for getting us kicked out. (OK, a free night at the Hilton is worth more than an easily replacable CD, but still...)
