it's good, especially when she's front and center on it. heard her do it live last month with attacca; lot of fun.

also got to see roomful of teeth with percussion ensemble tigue at the guggenheim recently. the singers moved around from level to level. Shaw premiered a new piece called "On Snow" that I surreptitiously taped and have listened to several times; completely lovely.

It should be noted here that Partita for 8 Voices is gonna be something I'm going to listen to until i die.

Catherine Called Birdy soundtrack with Carter Burwell is very good!
New album with Attaca Quartet not doing much for me but "other song" and "and so" are pretty amazing

I saw some of the new album performed at Big Ears and I thought it was quite effective live.

Maybe! I saw them do The Ascendant outdoors this summer and it was glorious, though the local asshole crowd wouldn't shut the fuck up.
