I just posted two responses to totally unrelated threads in which I stated that our dear friend jess was a prick. And all of a sudden I feel bad because I know I did this mostly out of a fit of drunken madness (read: rage). So what's the worst you've ever done to a fellow ILM'er?

I was very obnoxious when I started out. I'm not quite that bad now, but I still get into the odd verbal skirmish. I'm still probably ruder here than I am IRL.

The most obnoxious thing I've done? There was once a thread about some funny trick that someone's walkman did when it was broken. I was in a bad mood, so I just posted "Oh, who cares?". Sorry!

I tried to point out the stupidity of a claim that heavy metal was invented by black people by pointing out, using similar logic to the claimant, that reggae was invented by whites.

I think I was misunderstood.

Every one else probably thought I was obnoxious. Or worse.

Thing is I didn't really care either way about the particular claims, just the sophistry and the whole idea that events have definite causes.
