Anyone else into noize opera? I've been obsessed with 'Thou' for quite some time, and got very excited to see she's got a full length coming out really soon. Just found out that you can stream it over at the Wire and it sounds AMAZING. Lots of musical nods to her Philippine heritage, and a lot more in the way of fully-fledged melodies than I was expecting (still plenty of 'orrible 'orrible noise, though).

I saw WBS at High Desert Soundings last weekend. I had no idea who they were or what they were about and I thought it was going to be lame, but I was completely and totally knocked off my ass by how awesome the performance was.
