Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino poll

hard to believe this album will be three years old this year, time is flying. haven't played this is awhile and looking forward to listening to it again this week.

gonna be the basic who says that the two best songs are the lead single and the title track, sorry but it's true.

album works more as a cohesive vibe than collection of individual songs, tho moments in each jump out when i listen to them by themselves.

Thanks to ILM and my residual love for this band, I gave this album increasingly desultory plays through that summer.

i'm pretty sure this is ILM's favorite Arctic Monkeys album and it probably isn't even close.

ha I've been going back to this album a lot in the last week. terrible concept on paper, great in practice.

One Point Perspective is the best thing they've ever done IMO.

"the ultracheese" is great, but i can't decide if it's great because of or in spite of the fact that it reminds me of "on top of old smokey"

I literally forgot this band and album existed, but I am glad for this revive, since I liked this album and now want to listen to it.

they lyrics on this are insanely good, but this is not my favorite album by them that honor goes to AM. i need to hear one more time to make up my mind as it was a fun review.

voted "four stars out of five," the most immediate moment. the bridge is a thrilling moment on an album that, while great, is mostly devoid of showiness ("i can take you up another semitone")

Never considered listening to this album, feeling compelled to listen once while cleaning residence and then phone it in.

Star Treatment and the title track both got robbed a bit here, I thought the spread would be more even. Nice to revisit the album though, great idea for a poll.
