my favorite so far, Malagasy folk/pop

it was on 'dago radio sound' in madagascar's capital, which as far as i can tell is a community-based station

a bit heartbreaking when i hear something amazing, it doesn't show on shazam, and will never be able to find anything out about it. makes for a different listening experience however

(One of the first things I found on Radio Garden was a station in Utqi​agvik [f.k.a. Barrow], Alaska, the northernmost American city, playing "Puttin' on the Ritz" by Taco.)

i was jarred by an ad for creamette pasta sauce while listening to a station in kurdistan, but then an ad came on directed to teachers in minnesota, i think the ads are localized to where you are

huh okay that makes more sense

decided to join you in capetown, this has been another favorite station so far, in the middle of a rockabilly block currently

having trouble with this - every time i try a station it just plays static and buffers for a while then says station in unresponsive

yeah same for me on desktop but it works fine on phone

it blew up on twitter yesterday, maybe the site has been overwhelmed
