I think their best album is L'Enfant Sauvage, with From Mars to Sirius right behind. The first time I saw them live was on the From Mars... tour, opening for Amon Amarth. Their 2016 album Magma is also very good, but a little cleaner than L'Enfant Sauvage, not as heavy. When I bought it, it came with a bonus DVD of their performance at Rock In Rio in front of, I don't know, a quarter of a million people or whatever.

I have a ticket for the Gojira/Mastodon tour this fall and want to start exploring Gojira's discography before the show. My favorite Mastodon albums are the earlier ones before the songs got less complex — Leviathan, Blood Mountain, and especially Crack the Skye are all-timers for me.
With that in mind, where should I start with Gojira?
