he deserves a thread. he does a reduced take on detroit house that always sounds fkin gorgeous. he's been putting stuff up on bandcamp for a few years now and the more i listen the more i'm just kind of quietly slayed. like the most sublime, disarming stuff with .. limited elements i guess? thoughtfully arranged. minimal in the sense of mike huckaby but more drama and looser. his bandcamp is a little bit of a grab-bag but there is some incredible stuff there, this for example:

one thing about this guy is he knows how to lay down a rhythm that makes you want to move. and then his sense of the sonics of a track is like really delicious? he has an ear for what makes things delicate and sublime. his edit of marvin gaye 'i've got my music' is another great one.

I'd never heard of him and then was record-shopping with Morgan Geist in Cleveland (I know, long story) in 2008 and stumbled upon this. We both bought copies.

When I DJed more often, I'd drop this and people would go absolutely nuts, particularly daytime sets obv.

Nice thread.
I think my favourite I have is this one, just some awesome unrelenting pressure going on, a perfect early AM peaktime track to my ears.
