Hmmmm. Yeah, but Jimi Hendrix wasn't a Heinlein SciFi kinda guy. He's more of a Lewis Caroll Fantasy kinda guy.

I don't know, he's one of the most absurdly futurist performers of the past century..."Land of the New Rising Sun", "1983 (A Merman I Shall Be)", etc. his lyrics were quite obsessed with a future he was very optimistic about.
