somehow I ended up with The Zorba The Greek soundtrack as a little kid, in a pile of cast-off records from my uncle that also included Disraeli Gears by Cream (the cover of which flipped me out), some Kenny Rogers, The Harder They Come soundtrack, all the early Stones albums, Jesus Christ Superstar & Hair, West Side Story, and a lot of Goofy Greats/Funnybone Favorites/K-tel kind of stuff. I listened to them all a lot. My taste was warped accordingly.
