I like Neil Young's, but the Rolling Stones. Don't care for Garbage's, don't know the other two.

Wouldn't normally single out Garbage as a favourite, but those are the worst songs on both Aftermath and Zuma...

Have to admit I only know the Garbage song and happened to hear it for the first time in ages the other day and it was good, so that

I love the story of how Cold's 'Stupid Girl' came together: the dude from Cold was afraid it sounded too much like Weezer, so he allowed Rivers Cuomo to lightly revise the lyrics in exchange for a co-credit. Rivers originally agreed to sing it as a duet with Cold dude, but he relegated himself to unrecognizable backing vocals after he played it back and realized how much it sucked even by mid-'00s Weezer standards. at least that's the subtext I'm getting from this report.

my mom gave me a promo CD single of this song (I think she got it at a trade show?) because she thought it might be up my alley. it sounds like every other post-grunge hit of 2003. I'm pretty sure I microwaved it at some point.
