.. because I find it hard to watch.
Having said that, I had a house full, with a few pop savvy people in, and it was alright, fun even.
But when a lot of the 'easy' ones involve top ten hits of the last few years of which my knowledge is limited, well....
Actually, I did apply along with our Alice to be on, but about halfway through she did say"There is no way they'll have us on. Me, the music student, you with your TV pop quiz show past,... " and I dare say she's right.
Which is fine, it's an entertainment show not university challenge. And the idea that it's easy money is, well forget it.

I've watched it several times, and it's enjoyable. It's also a stark reminder of how little I know about pop music after 2010. I've fantasised about appearing on it, but doubt very much that I'd ever qualify.

I’m the same as Mike, would smash the 70s/80s/90s but if they played something by Jess Glynne, Sam Smith or Mabel would be stumped.

It's funny, pop quiz shows have been short-lived affairs, unless helmed by celebs. Who are allowed to know little general knowledge..
This is on its fourth series. Then again, people are much more tv savvy, and can do 'clever' along with 'funny' or 'charming', and the production company tends to filter out the 'scared to bits' people.
