I know Lights On ? The others I have never consciously heard. It just means I am clueless about some genres that defined an era for you. I probably had this impression of looking at a long list of names several times with different generations of indie and electronic pop. Also when I look at end-of-the-year lists from specialized magazines. I usually get a good sense of cross-over references from ILX though.

I was listening to a lot of music in 2011 but I've only heard a few things on this list as far as I can recall (Katy B, AlunaGeorge, Azealia Banks, Kyary).

Looking back at my Spotify playlists from the time there was a lot of synth, electronics and hipster house: Nico Jaar, Peaking Lights, ex-Emeralds solo albums, Advisory Circle, Sapphire Slows, Maria Minerva,...I don't really remember how I was feeling but I think my life was pretty boring...

Happy you think so, that was very much a personal one, it was the record I had on a lot when my son had just been born, and I was travelling between the hospital and my flat by bus, it was the start of spring after a long winter, and the instrumental section halfway through Still Sound still evokes the joy of that time, even now.
