That was such an incredible decade for pop in French. I also briefly considered "La maison où j'ai grandi" which is heart-clenching and that I somehow associate with the death of my grandmother.For Jacqueline Taieb, I absolutely love "Ce soir je m'en vais" which is about taking the boat back to France after a language exchange or something."N'écoute pas les idoles" by France Gall, another example, first French song my wife loved.
